Cosmos as a premonition
57th year. A time of hope and sincere faith that a bright future will certainly come. The Soviet satellite sends out ringing signals, telling the world: “We are here, we will step further and higher”! The life of a border port city flows around. Masses of foreign ships bring here unfamiliar sounds, tastes and smells - frightening and alluring. On Earth, in a northern port city, the shining eyes of the Horse and Lara, a young, simple-minded cook and his waitress girlfriend, are admiringly watching the satellite’s movements. The course of their simple romance is disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious and very attractive stranger in the city.
