I am Sergey Obraztsov
A puppet journey through the entire twentieth century. Starring Evgeny Tsyganov. Against the backdrop of historical newsreels and drawings by Sergei Obraztsov, theater and film legends come to life in dolls: Lyubov Orlova and Lydia Ruslanova, Charlie Chaplin and Leonid Utesov, Solomon Mikhoels and Fyodor Chaliapin, as well as other historical celebrities. The performance is based on the autobiographical book of S.V. Obraztsov “On the steps of memory.” How was the life story of the great puppeteer who lived throughout the twentieth century, the creator of the world's largest puppet theater? The creators of the play “I am Sergei Obraztsov” open the curtain of time and present the life of a genius as a portrait against the backdrop of an era, an epic and at the same time confessional-lyrical journey through the steps of memory.
